Leaderboard Update & Choosing Your Nonprofit
We’ve had an exciting week of volunteer activities and meaningful conversations at this week’s nonprofit meet and greet events. Some of our teams are taking full advantage of every opportunity and they’re in it to win it! Take a look at the leaderboard update below as we near the end of the volunteer pre-season and begin to select your teams nonprofit beneficiary.
How to Engage Your Team in the Nonprofit Selection Process
We’ve curated the Pre-Season to help our teams get to know what issues exist around access to opportunity and the impact that our nonprofit partners are making so that each company can rally around the nonprofit they’d like to support and play for during the Competition Season. Many of our teams want to engage employees in this process so here are a few ways to get your team involved:
What is access to opportunity? If your team missed the panel that dives in to this cause area for the season, host a watch party to recap the panel and break out in to discussion groups.
Jump in to your admin account on the POINTapp. Who’s volunteering? Who are they volunteering for? Ask your most active volunteers to submit a short testimonial video for your team to watch and hold a vote.
Near the end of this week, circulate an anonymous survey to conduct a vote for every employee to choose their favorite nonprofit
Host a virtual discussion with another team about who their favorite nonprofits are and why. This activity is a two-for-one since you can earn a bonus point, too!
***Not all volunteer opportunities may have been confirmed at the time of point calculation and Leaderboard publishing date. All bonus points will be confirmed and revealed by the Pep Rally on October 1st.
